I haven't eaten here since they first open up. Since then things has change a bit. More grab and go type of items. Entrees to go and giftiable items. The seating area inside are small but they added more outdoor patio seating. Food is cook to order, fresh and gourmet. I ordered their Polynesian poke bowl. It was really good and has everything I like. Good place to stop in for a quick, nice gourmet meal. Staff was friendly. Casual dining ambiance with gourmet dining vibes.

We were out and about in the area and saw this place and decided to give it a try. We were so glad we did. The moment we walked in the door and saw some of the refrigerated cases holding a variety of prepared foods, we were excited. We ate a couple salads there. My husband had a southwestern style salad and I had a Thai salad. We both thought they were exceptional. The southwestern style salad had jicama and crispy hominy. My Thai salad had chicken, rice noodles, and was drizzled with a yummy peanut sauce. The salads were substantial in size and we left satisfied. The take and bake pizzas were tempting, as well as was their cookie selection. I'm a sucker for a iced sugar cookie. They sell the salad dressings they make in house too. They had a gift shop area with some cute coasters, watercolors, sketchpads, drink napkins and other small items for purchase that were fun. Besides salads, they have protein bowls. We will definitely come back!

What a neat restaurant! Some of the nicest meals I've had from a place where you order at the counter. The food came out quickly and the kind wait staff went back and grabbed everything else we asked for. You will certainly enjoy the subtly upscale, yet very casual environment. In addition to serving excellent meals, there is a nice bakery that looked delicious and a small marketplace with many grab and go food items and some niche food-related paraphernalia. I got the Nomad Bowl and appreciated the unique flavors and textures. The composition of the bowl itself was more imaginative than it read on the menu, but the salmon was considerably overcooked. I was also able to try the Hollywood Bowl which was fantastic. The rest of the table enjoyed their orders thoroughly. A little bit more expensive than your typical order at the counter kind of place, but the meal was worth a few extra bucks.

We were in town for a soccer tournament with my parents and two kids. We had the biscuits and gravy, and griddle cakes and they were absolutely phenomenal. I had a slight miscommunication about coffee with the front counter staff, but immediately the owner came out looking to make it right. Not only did he comp our coffees, he then took the time to talk with my boys and show them how to use the whip cream gun in a little bowl with strawberries for them to enjoy. You can absolutely tell that he cares not only for his staff (he was training and attentive in the kitchen the entire 45 minutes we were there) but he was attentive to his customers too. THIS is the type of community and small business restaurant that represents Kansas. Thank you to the owner and staff for the incredible food and experience you created for us.

My first time to Caffeteria and Jess's third. At first I couldn't find it on google maps bc of the incorrect spelling of cafeteria. We liked how quickly the food came after ordering at the front. The ambiance was a vibe and the staff was super attentive. The steak sandwich was well constructed (coming from an engineer) and was easy to eat relative to the competition. The lemonade was so sweet that it tickled my brain - so good. Jess got the garden sandwich (great vegan option). Her fries were crispy and salty, just how she likes it. I was convinced to get the homemade chips rather than the bagged ones - they were good but need use some stronger seasoning and more salt if they want to compete with Big Chip. Generous portions and we left with to-go boxes for lunch tomorrow. Would go again

When you go in you order at the counter. They bring the food to your table. Cute place. My friend and I sat at the counter where we could watch the cooks at work. Pretty cool. It wasn't long before we got our food. I got the Polynesian Poké bowl. Very fresh ingredients. Also got sweet potato fries. It came with really tasty honey mustard aïoli. I also got hibiscus iced tea which was excellent. There were three others that you could choose from. I loved that. My friend got KC Que 16. It was a barbecue chicken pizza, which was excellent. She let me have a piece. There's also a little market inside with food items and a few things for kids. I picked up a couple of tattoo packs for my grandsons and spinach and cheese enchiladas which I'm excited to try tonight. I will definitely be back to try other things.

Everyone has been raving about this place and now! Located in a cute and quiet little mall in Prairie Village, the vibes here were so fresh and chill! It was really cool to have a glassed in kitchen that you can see them cooking your food fresh! The service was really fast and convient. You order at the counter and they bring it out. (Very pricey in my opinion. I paid $11 for a juice. A very good juice though!) We ordered the breakfast burrito which was very tasty, the sweet potato fries with a honey mustard aioli, and the Genoveve pizza which was incredible! We will for sure go back here, maybe even pick up dinner that they have pre made in the fridges!
